[Uwh-announce] reffing survey

Hi all,

The refereeing survey finished up over 2 weeks ago, and since that time 
the TUHA comittee met last week to make a decision on the outcomes of the 
survey.

We had 23 members respond to the survey. Thanks to those who took the time 
to input into the process. I was hoping for a bit more participation from 
our 200+ members.
The survey showed that option 8 (increasing refs re-imbursement to $10 per 
game) was the most popular with 8 votes. More reffing coaching and more 
reffing workshops were the next most popular proposals. However, the 
comittee was not convinced that 8 votes carried enough weight to change 
the system, or that option 8 would work.

The comittee is presently discussing the idea of changing to a revised 
system (possibly mid pennant), but are yet to make a decision on what that 
new system MIGHT be and (if or) when it may be implemented.
For the present, the system will remain as is. I am yet to get round to 
putting in guild refs for games. This will probably happen in about 3 
weeks time. My appologies for the delay.
