Founding Members

The society was started in 1999 by University of Tasmania students: Steven de Salas, Steven Tuong, and Ian Cumming. Founded as the Internet Developers Society (IDS) the society’s name was changed, beginning in 2008, to TUCS, The UTAS Computing Society.
